| This device eliminates
battery failure due to leaving mobile radios, cellular telephones, trunking radios, AVL
(Automatic Vehicle Location), MDT (Mobile Data Terminals), MDS (Mobile Data Systems), or
any other radio equipment on inadvertently. The DG 200 series timer provides operation of
radio equipment with the ignition off and the keys removed. The DG 200 series is a DIP switch programmable timer with the delay time settings of 15 minutes to 12 plus hours (with special times available from 1 second to 12 hours with the DG 200 Custom - *see note below) before the equipment automatically shuts off. This allows for radio equipment to be used without having other accessories on, such as blowers, increasing battery drain. This unit can eliminate the high cost of battery replacement or service calls due to a dead or low battery from leaving radio equipment on overnight or weekends. The DG 200 series has been tested and proven on fleet, government, police, EMS (Emergency Medical Services), fire services vehicles, business and utility vehicles. This device comes ready to install - including an internal 30 Amp relay. Easy installation instructions are included. There is a one year limited factory warranty on all DG 200 series products. * NOTE: The DG Series Custom Delay Timer is a factory-set time and cannot be changed by the customer (NON-PROGRAMMABLE!). Some uses for this Custom Timer include: poultry processing plants, fire station plectron units, water vending machines and a wide variety of other applications. |
