The DGRM 501 repeater maker uses a
digital gate circuit for positive control of repeater functions. The unit provides for
transmit keying whenever COS/COR is present and provides for PTT with a variable delay
from 0 - 30 seconds. The audio circuit is controlled by the COS/COR to provide quieting from squelch noise during microphone PTT operation. Audio is connected from the radios' discriminator circuits for clean signal amplification which also passes CTCSS tones for additional signaling control with the use of external Sub-Audible equipment. Audio level is controlled with a variable resistor in the audio input circuit and the audio output loading to the transmitter is adjusted through a variable resister in the audio output. The DGRM 501 provides for repeater operations with the use of most any two transceivers. The DGRM 501-B is to be used to provide for cross-band operation for base link equipment. The Repeater Maker provides for excellent control and flexibility with the use of most radios and has a very low operating current drain and is ideal for remote locations. 24" Interface Cables included. DGME 1000 MOBILE EXTENDER The DGME 1000 mobile radio extender uses a digital circuit for positive control of radio function. This unit was designed for cross-band operations from a vehicle.
