The Oakland area has two historic cemeteries.

Cedar Hill Cemetery

Situated Situated on a knoll overlooking Oakland and Calapooya Creek, Cedar Hill Cemetery dates from 1890. It is located about one mile west of Oakland on Green Valley Road and is an active operating cemetery.

Old Town Cemetery

The Masonic, Old Town Cemetery is located about one mile north of town off of Old Town Road on a tree covered hill that also overlooks the city.
